activity
Let's be real, without activity the game will die. Period. Activity checks are every two weeks on Saturdays, and there will be a post in the mod journal for you to comment with your activity. Failing to comment will result in your removal, so keep track of your posts and remember to reply to the activity check reminders asap. Narratives, scenes posted to the IC comm, comment threads, random or lyric posts, instagram or tumblr mock ups and first person journal entries all count and two pieces of activity are needed per period. At least one pieces of activity per month has to come from posting something - random post, lyrics, thread, etc.

realism
We want you to have fun in the game, but we also want you to remember how expensive the east coast can be. Please make sure your character's financial situation matches their income! Faux celebs will be allowed, to an extent, but please run these ideas by us first before applying. Pregnancies last nine months, people who get married after three weeks of dating usually end up just as quickly divorced, etc. Just use common sense. If you're not sure, ask! Any sensitive subject matter needs research and please just drop the mods a line so we know what's going on. character limit is five. we feel that's more than generous.

ooc drama
Basic RP rules apply: don't harrass people, don't godmod, don't cross the ooc/ic line. Please treat people with respect! We'll always listen to questions or concerns and if you have a problem with another player, we want you to come to us so we can help. As far as ooc drama goes, you will get one warning and on the second, we'll remove you.

applying
You need a journal to apply, of course. It must include your character's name only, no underscores or numbers. In your character journal you need a blurb (this can be just a short paragraph) both a spam and an ooc contact post. As long as you have all these things, it can be divvied up between two and three separate posts. That's up to you, as long as everything is there. Examples are a must for members, one scene and one entry/narrative is all that's needed.
